What Type of Funeral Are You Looking For
Organising a funeral can be a confusing and stressful thing. With so much to arrange and book, it can get on top of you at a time when you are already distressed. Bare & Torrisholme Funeral Services can help remove the stress and categorise the style and layout of what type of funeral you would like to achieve. From smaller funerals to the traditional funerals with a full ceremony, we can help you get it all booked and ready for the day. We will cover everything you need with minimal stress, allowing you to concentrate on your family and friends during this difficult time.
Our main types of funeral are detailed below:
Direct Cremation
£1,696 + Doctors Fee at £82
· Collection of the deceased from a hospital, hospice, or from their home or care home within a 10-mile radius of our funeral home. *if this happens outside of working hours an additional charge of £190 will be issued.
· All funeral arrangements will be made at our funeral home with you during working hours at a convenient time.
· Your loved one will be looked after and cared for at our funeral home until the day of the cremation.
· We will take care of paying all disbursement charges on your behalf.
· Provision of a standard coffin for cremation with handles and a nameplate.
· Transportation for the deceased to the crematorium on the arranged date in our hearse.
· We will arrange collection of the ashes after cremation unless otherwise advised and will be available for collection from our funeral home by arrangement during working hours.
*Payment in full for all funeral costs to be paid 3 days prior to the funeral.
Simple Cremation
£2,913.00 + Doctors Fee at £82
· Collection of the deceased from a hospital, hospice, or from their home or care home within a 10-mile radius of our funeral home. *if this happens outside of working hours an additional charge of £190 will be issued.
· All funeral arrangements will be made at our funeral home with you during working hours at a convenient time.
· Your loved one will be looked after and cared for at our funeral home until the day of the cremation. Viewing your loved one at our private chapel of rest, provisions of a gown or dressing in own clothes by appointment between 9am & 4pm.
· We will take care of paying all disbursement charges on your behalf.
· Provision of a standard coffin for cremation with handles and a nameplate.
· Transportation for the deceased to the crematorium on the arranged date in our hearse, full chapel service at our local crematorium officiated by a minister or civil celebrant at a service time of 9:30am.
· Meet at the crematorium on the day of the funeral.
· We will arrange collection of the ashes after cremation unless otherwise advised and will be available for collection from our funeral home by arrangement during working hours.
*Payment in full for all funeral costs to be paid 3 days prior to the funeral.
Traditional Cremation
£3,518 + Doctors Fee at £82
· Collection of the deceased from a hospital, hospice, or from their home or care home within a 10-mile radius of our funeral home. *if this happens outside of working hours an additional charge of £190 will be issued.
· All funeral arrangements will be made in our private lounge at our funeral home with you during working hours at a convenient time or we can come to you and do this in the comfort of your own home.
· Your loved one will be looked after and cared for at our funeral home until the day of the cremation. Viewing your loved one at our private chapel of rest, provisions of a gown or dressing in own clothes by appointment between 9am & 4pm.
· We will take care of paying all disbursement charges on your behalf.
· Provision of a polished high quality veneered coffin offered in a light or medium oak, Elm or mahogany finish with handles and an engraved nameplate.
· Choice of Crematorium at either Lancaster & Morecambe or Beetham Hall.
· Provision of a modern hearse for the deceased, leaving from your family home or an address of your choice within a 10-mile radius of our funeral home.
· Full chapel service at your chosen crematorium, officiated by a minister or civil celebrant at a service time arranged conveniently unless otherwise advised.
· The ashes will be available for collection from our funeral home by arrangement during working hours.
The traditional funeral cost will also include when applicable:
· Arrangements of floral tributes with a local florist.
· Arrangements of the obituary in the local newspaper.
· Arranging the design and build of your Order of Service booklet.
· Organising funeral catering.
· Arrangements with the church for a service prior to cremation. *extra fees for the church will apply.
· Help with arranging final placement for ashes after the funeral and offering a choice of suitable casket or container at an additional cost.
· Provision of a matching modern limousine is available at an additional cost.
